    Hi all,

    NICE are holding an open meeting on 12 December 2018 for their public health workplace health program focusing upon the update to “Workplace health: long-term sickness absence and incapacity to work (PH19)”. This may be of value to ARIOPS members as it offers an opportunity to hear how this workstream is developing and to learn more about how NICE works. I have pasted a copy of the invitation email below. Anyone can register to attend the meeting as an observer but booking is required. The booking site opens 14 November

    Dear colleague,

    I am writing to inform you that the public registration facility to observe the committee meeting for Workplace health will open on Wednesday 14 November 2018 on the NICE website.

    If you would like to register for this committee meeting, please do so via the following web page: http://www.nice.org.uk/event/phace-december-2018

    Registration for this meeting will close on Wednesday 28 November 2018. Please note we may be unable to accept late requests to observe this meeting.

    As a public observer, you will be able to listen to the business of the meeting, except where confidential information is being discussed, however, you will not be able to:

    participate in committee discussions
    ask questions, take part in voting or put your views to members of the committee
